Unique Features of our Programmes in Italy
Although we offer regular day tours and coach tours our main strength are custom made packages for independent travellers who wish to combine various type of experiences. When visiting a country it is always a challenging to choose what to select as the best way to see the country. Is it a coach tour, train and stay, car and stay or combination of many. Of course there are different requirements for family of 4 travelling throughout 3 or 4 countries, honeymooners on the 2 weeks trip or couple on their long service leave. There is no one fit all and that is why in the brochure we generally present only the sample itineraries and limited number of most popular tours. The expertise of constructing itineraries that incorporate the best value product in the correct order is the key to save time and money, as sometimes reversing the itinerary or changing order can result in huge money saving alternative despite the fact that hotels and other product used are the same.
We offer a large selection of hotels in major cities to suite all tastes and budgets. We not only compete on price but most importantly provide information about the hotels to assure that clients choose the right product for their needs and budget. Our coach tours offer regular departures, depending on country some of them are in English only but all represent great value for money. We offer variety of unique experiences which can be added to itinerary like cooking classes, bullfight in Spain, opportunity to learn how to row like a Venetian or listen to music concerts.
Must See Sites in Italy
Italy has so many 'must see sites' it's better to address this city by city or region by region. In Rome, The Vatican, The Colosseum, The Pantheon, The Roman Forum and the Trevi Fountain would be prime sites. In Venice the Grand Canal, St Marks's Square and Doge's palace are highlights. In Florence the Arno Bridge, the Cathedral, the Michelangelo's David and the Uffizi Gallery are highlights. Near Naples is Mount Vesuvius, Pompeii and the magnificent Amalfi Coast.
Best Way to see Italy:
For a short stay in Rome combination of transfers, hotel stay and the day tours are ideal. The best way to see Italy countryside and avoid conflict with Italian drivers is to take an organised tour. Coach tourism with a guide is the most convenient way to experience and appreciate sights which are spread across the country due to the large distances needed to be covered. There are tours that cover north part or south part only or both. A great alternative , and very popular option is to design your own itinerary utilising the comprehensive Italian rail system. Combine this with prebooked hotels which can be arrange for you at your choice of standard as well as additional day tours.
Best Duration of Stay in Italy
Italy has so many options and highlights its hard to place a specific duration. Rome deserves at least 3 to 4 nights. Certainly anything less than 7 days is insufficient to gain a taste for this incredible country. In 14 days a visitor can obtain a flavour for the more popular regions of Italy. Average stay in Tuscany should be one week.
